WhatsApp will soon let users view status updates from viewers list
WhatsApp is working on a useful feature that will make it easier to view the status updates. The company is testing a new way that will allow users to check the status updates directly from the viewers list on WhatsApp, without returning to the section.
A new WhatsApp Android beta with 2.24.19.4 version is rolling out which shows access to status updates via viewers list. The capability is still in the testing phase.
Interested users can register in the Google Play Beta Program to enjoy new and interesting features before the stable release. Though these beta builds often lead to buggy updates and performance issues in the app. Hence, proceed at your own risk.
Coming back, WhatsApp will soon let you sneak into your contacts status through the viewers list. The sheet that appears just below your status showing who has viewed your status update will now let you see others’ statuses as well.

In recent times, the company has introduced many ways to check status updates. The easiest one is to check the status from the chat list. If you see a green ring around your contacts profile, then tap on it to view their latest status updates.
Now the company is enhancing this feature via the viewers list. Just like the chat list, users will find a green ring around their contacts’ profiles in the viewers list.
It is an easy and convenient feature as now you don’t have to follow any additional navigation. The feature is currently available to beta testers but will soon reach the general public through the stable release.
