WhatsApp is working on a significant ‘video note’ mode that will make content sharing easier in chats. The respective capability will be available in the camera section and allow users to send quick short clips to their friends, family members, and contacts.

Spotted in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.24.14.14 version, the company is preparing a new video note mode. The feature is currently rolling out to a few testers via the Google Play Beta Program and will soon reach general consumers through a stable release.

Video note feature aims to simplify video messaging in WhatsApp. Users will experience an easier way of recording and sharing content in the conversations.

Earlier, users needed to hold the camera icon in the chat bar for making instant video messages. Although the video note feature eliminates this inconvenience. Now you can directly record video notes within the camera interface of the app.

This feature eventually ends the dilemma of how to record video notes or instant video messages. Instead of holding the camera icon for a few seconds, you can directly enter the camera interface, tap on the video note button, and start recording.

WhatsApp is bringing this feature to enhance the user experience with the video shooting and sharing capability. To check on the new enhancement, make sure to run the latest version of the chat application.
