WhatsApp now lets you pin multiple messages in chats

WhatsApp now enables its users to pin important messages in both individual and group chats. The significant feature has started rolling out and will soon be available for Android and iOS users across the globe.

According to the official blog, WhatsApp users can now pin different types of messages in the chats. For instance, text, polls, images, and interesting emojis. However, the facility is only available for one chat at a time.

Eventually, users have to long press on a particular message in the chat. This action will show certain options in the top menu. From here, you can select the “Pin” icon. Doing so will pin the selected message in the conversation.

Notably, you can choose a particular time to keep your messages pinned in the chat. For example, users can pick from 24 hours, 7 days (which is the default option), and 30 days.

Pin Messages are a prominent feature in WhatsApp. It helps you to mark some of the latest or the most important messages at the top of the chat. You can even pin addresses and other essential details to access them easily. For groups, you can pin certain information related to an event, a place, or other critical information.
