WhatsApp is working on new AI support chatbot feature

WhatsApp continues to add new AI features and recently, the Meta-owned chat app started testing a new AI chatbot support feature for users to provide fast answers and instant solutions.

According to Wabetainfo, the new capability will help users remove the hassle of contacting via email for the issues inside the app.

“We will respond to you in a WhatsApp chat, some messages may be generated by AI using a secure service from Meta,” wrote on the feature screen. Despite AI inclusion, users will still be able to interact with manual chat support within a few taps.

In action, the feature would come in handy in resolving common issues and answering about WhatsApp features.

For now, the new AI chatbot support for WhatsApp users remains under beta test with version 2.23.23.8 and may take some time to release for all of the Android users.
