WhatsApp is working on a new chat interface for Android

WhatsApp wants to improve the overall look and user experience of the chat application and to do so, Meta is now testing a new user interface for Android users.

As reported by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp beta version 2.23.20.10 was spotted with a new user interface. The design seems organized and has a clean outlook.

The top bar has been restructured and new enhancements are added to provide fast access to all available options.

The icons are also tweaked as compared to the current version of the app and it looks way better. For now, these changes remain in beta mode and may take a few rounds before they go into public mode.
