WhatsApp will soon enable its users to easily manage contacts on different accounts via the “Contact Syncing” feature. The company is rolling out the new capability to some beta testers and will soon release it to others through a stable update.

Spotted in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.24.18.14 version, the company has introduced the contact syncing feature for multiple accounts. The app already enables users to run more than two accounts and now it’s enhancing this feature to more extent.

The company has added a new ‘sync your phone contacts’ feature in the Privacy section, under Settings. It will not only sync users’ address books to different accounts but also help them to choose if they want to keep the contacts separate on both accounts.

One can either turn on or off the contacts sync feature for their second account, as per their preference. It is quite a useful capability for those who don’t want to mix their work colleagues and family members across multiple accounts

Apart from this addition, WhatsApp may add an option to sync selected contacts across various accounts. Thus, users will be able to access certain contacts from all accounts. They can also unsync the previous contacts based on their needs.

The new feature is available to limited Android beta testers via the Google Play Beta Program. If you want to explore new add-ons of WhatsApp in advance then enroll HERE.
