WhatsApp designing new contact info for Android
WhatsApp is planning to change various sections of this messenger app, providing more spontaneous and enriched features. The changes are being made for almost every version of the app including Android platforms, iOS platforms, Business users, and web/desktop users.
In last month, we have talked about a new design group info layout for the business users. This new design was in the review phase and isn’t available for the beta testers yet. However, the layout seems to have a sophisticated look with the profile image framed in a round design.
Furthermore, there will be two new contact buttons for voice and video calling. There could be more measurements but they are yet to reveal. Now a similar design is being prepared for Android users. You can check the preview below.

As the image elaborates, the profile picture has given a round shape instead of a square with the contact name and number placed just under the profile. In addition, the communications switches including chat, audio call, and voice call arrange sidewise on the info card.
Moving ahead, you can also spot the bio which is currently placed at the last in the info section. Moreover, in this new design, WhatsApp has shifted the About and Phone number section from bottom to top.
As I mentioned before, WhatsApp changing the current contact info design to give it an easy spotting look. However, this new design isn’t ready to roll out for the users but it’s expected to roll out with the future update.
