WhatsApp Android will let you hide specific contact online status soon

Many WhatsApp Android users have long requested an option to hide their online status. And finally, fresh information emerged about WhatsApp’s impending addition of a feature allowing you to hide your online status from a specific contact.

Although you can see in the images, two new options, “Everyone” and “Same as Last Seen,” allow us to control who can see when we are online from under our last seen settings.

For instance, selecting “My contacts” for “Last Seen” and “Same as Last Seen” for “online” ensures that people who are not in your contact list cannot see when you are online.
