WhatsApp Android 2.23.13.6 brings new numbered media picker

WhatsApp has recently started testing the 2.23.13.6 version for Android devices and it brings a new “numbered” media picker option. This is a new development that will soon come to WhatsApp users and will focus on improvements to the file-sending interface.

According to Wabetainfo, the new file picker will label selected thumbnails with numbers. For example, when you select images, the images will be marked with numbers in an incremental order of your selection.

The current version of the file picker only has a checkmark on the image thumbnail. It’s revealed that the feature will help you to keep track of selected media files.

The numbered media picker option is currently only available for WhatsApp Android 2.23.13.6 beta testers. You can also participate in the beta activity using the Play Store or download the latest WhatsApp beta app from third-party sources.

As this feature may take some time to reach all of the WhatsApp users to receive in stable mode.
