WhatsApp Android 2.22.13.9 testing status chat list feature
WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new beta pack with version 2.22.13.9 that is testing the status chat list feature. The update rollout took place via the Google Play Beta Program. Further, this program will mainly lead the Android consumers.
According to the latest information, with the 2.22.13.9 build, Whatsapp is working on the status chat list feature. Currently, the feature is in the under development stage. However, the company will soon bring this trait in the next version release of the application.
What is Status Updates – Chats List?
Since April, WhatsApp is sweating for implementing finer optimizations to the status updates. The company is trying to link the feature with the users’ chat box. As a result, users would be able to open the status updates directly from the chat list.
Meanwhile, it will update you instantly about who published a status right away from the chats. However, a kind of drawback that we noticed is that users will not be able to deactivate the feature through the settings.
Besides, the information also hints at the existence of the respective feature in the Desktop beta. Alongside, the feature also appeared in the WhatsApp beta for iOS and states to avail in the near future. Hence, the time is not so far when Android users will find a new attribute in the application.
Up to this point, we have spotted numerous unique features with every fresh update on WhatsApp. Similarly, the company is trying to develop a new feature that will break its cover in the next coming updates. At present, we didn’t grab confirmation about the release of this beta pack. But the company will soon roll it out to the beta users.
