Today, WhatsApp announced a brand new feature for users that will let them use the same WhatsApp account on multiple smartphones. Meta-owned WhatsApp said in a blog post that this capability to log in to the same account on multiple phones will allow you to synchronize your messages across all of the devices seamlessly.

According to the information, you can now link your phone under the four devices that include web browsers, tablets, and desktops. Each of these connected phones will use independent data management and the connections will encrypted.

Similar to other platforms, if the parent phone becomes inactive, WhatsApp will log out of the account automatically from all of the phones. This functionality also makes business owners to easily add business employees and respond directly to customers from their phones under the same WhatsApp Business account.

Status of this feature rollout

WhatsApp has confirmed that this feature is rolling out in batches and may take a few weeks to cover all of the users.

An upgrade to the login feature
