On November 16, 2020, Huawei finalized a deal to sell its smartphone subsidiary, Honor to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology of China. With this deal, Honor will get the freedom to work as a separate smartphone company and to participate in the global smartphone market even in the flagship category.

The deal also opens possibilities for Honor to establish its own supply chain in the industry and regain crucial U.S. hardware and software technologies such as Google Mobile Services (GMS) and smartphone chipsets.

Surely, this new deal has brought an opportunity for Honor but there are some serious questions existing Honor smartphone users that need to be addressed. One of them is “What will happen to my Honor smartphone?”.

Yeah, there could be a lot of them and we hope Honor will come to solve the confusion that’s the aftermath of this partition from Huawei. However, Honor may take some time to address the new clauses that are about to take effect soon.

In the meantime, you are free to place your discussion here and also do leave your own doubts in the comments section.
