Weekly Check 1: Received EMUI 11 for your Huawei device?
At Huawei Developer Conference 2020, Huawei has revealed its latest Android-based operating system, EMUI 11 and it offers new features and changes in the UI/UX that improves the user experience.
EMUI 11 features include a new artistic always-on display (AOD), improved multi-window multitasking, super notepad, AI subtle, and much more.
Just after the launch of EMUI 11, Huawei has started the EMUI 11 beta testing for its devices. The company started the EMUI 11 beta testing from its flagship series that includes Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series and delivered the stable EMUI 11 version in early November.
Till now, the company has released EMUI 11 stable version for Huawei P40, Mate 30, MatePad Pro, Nova 7, Nova 6 series, MatePad 10.8, and Mate Xs in China. Still, Huawei is under-development of EMUI 11 beta testing and expanding to more of its eligible devices.
In Europe, Huawei is rolling out EMUI 11 stable for the beta and the regular users of Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+ and Mate 30 Pro to proceeds with the rollout for other devices.

How to update EMUI 11 on your device:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
