Weekly Check 1: Received EMUI 10 for your Huawei P20 or P20 Pro?
EMUI 10 was officially announced in August 2019, this new OS is based on Android 10 and first made its debut with Huawei Mate 30 series in September. While the Huawei P30 series got the first slot for beta testing.
Under the expansion of EMUI 10, Huawei started EMUI 10 testing for Huawei P20 series in October, last year in China. While the stable EMUI 10 made its way to these devices in early January 2020.
Meanwhile, the global users of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro stayed clueless about the EMUI 10 rollout. Late May, Huawei finally released the EMUI 10 for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro global variants. This rollout began almost 5 months after Chinese variants.
The EMUI 10 release for Huawei P20 series is currently expanding among different countries around the globe and it’ll continue to reach devices over the next few weeks or months.
So, in this first weekly check of Huawei P20 series. We want to know, whether you’ve completed the EMUI 10 installation on your device or not.
