Volkswagen and Huawei deal could finalize in March

News regarding a mega-deal between Volkswagen and the Chinese tech maker  – Huawei has already been out and it’s related to the car business. Related to this, a new report hints that the new information about the Volkswagen and Huawei car division deal could come by the end of March this year.

A previous report shows that Volkswagen intends to purchase Huawei’s overseas autonomous car department and the deal could reach up to billions of euros.

However, both of the parties remained silent after the news broke in and chose to decline any comment.

Huawei and Volkwagon:

Both companies have been connected with each other for a long time, which began in 2017. In the following year, Huawei announced to sign a memorandum with Audi to jointly develop smart vehicles and provide Audi smart driving solutions.

In 2021, Huawei planned to form a joint venture with Volkswagen in terms of smart car technologies, which includes the sharing of important autonomous driving techs such as software and hardware components.
