Various Huawei Mate 20 smartphone users stuck in major camera bug
Huawei Mate 20 was the best smartphone with a great quad-camera system that provides high-quality pictures with lots of details. But, every best device also has some faults. Recently, some users reported that they are facing a camera bug, the screen goes freeze while recording videos.
As per the information given by the Huawei Mate 20 users, they are stuck with some camera-related issues, which occur while recording the video, the recording parameter is 4K, the screen goes frozen in between capturing videos.
The user also mentions that the system is running on the latest version of HarmonyOS 2.0. While other users refer that the issue occurs when the camera has been running constantly because TimeClock constantly keeps the camera running.
To check whether this issue is on your device or your device is affected by this bug is to try out the camera application now. Also, we recommend that if the camera system freezes and you will need to restart the device.
Whereas other users wrote that, the recorded video would freeze because, in video mode, the camera preview interface is in HDR output mode. When the overall scene is dark or the difference between light and dark is clear, the camera can ensure the details of high and low brightness parts at the same time.
If recording gets stuck, you can set-restore to the default value and try to avoid violent shaking while recording the video. Some cameras have an optical image stabilization function that can reduce image blurring due to external jitter.
It is recommended to update the phone system in a timely manner and take data backup before upgrading the device. In the condition that if the camera is stuck and forced to exit then, do-follow the given step for settled down:
- Enter Settings
- Then, Find Application management
- Search Camera, and click Storage
- Then, Delete data
Note: This operation will not delete gallery photos, only restore camera settings.
