[Unlocked UK] Honor 8X starts receiving EMUI 10

In the last few weeks, UK’s top mobile operators – Three, Vodafone UK and EE begin sending EMUI 10 for Honor 8X, as a major OS upgrade over EMUI 9.1.

Adding to this, users of unlocked Honor 8X now receiving EMUI 10/Android 10 with the latest user interface design – Magazine Style UX, new icons design and new features such as Dark Mode and more.

Note: EMUI 10 for Unlocked Honor 8X rolling out in batches so it may take some time to reach your device.

Honor 8X Unlocked EMUI 10 Version:

Unlocked model of Honor 8X in the UK receiving EMUI version 10.0.0.175 with the software package size of 3.58GB.

Tip – Back up important data and keep the phone sufficiently charged before beginning to upgrade.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare/Support:

Open HiCare/Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Note: HiCare is now renamed as the Support App.
