The U.S. government has filed a motion on Wednesday asking for the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by Huawei that shows the US has illegally blacklisted Huawei’s business, reported Reuters.
The government’s motion was filed in the U.S. District Court, the same as where the original complaint was filed by Huawei.
Back in May, The US Commerce Department blacklisted Huawei’s business with firms followed by Huawei’s announced that it has filed a motion in the US against the company’s business ban in the country and is completely unconstitutional.
On June 29, U.S. president Donald Trump announced the ease in trade restriction on Huawei but the White House officials are saying that the company is still blacklisted, therefore, the export requests to Huawei will be reviewed with high scrutiny”.
