Twitter to relocate DMs button on the top
Twitter is about to relocate the DMs button to the top side of the mobile application, which was available in the bottom tray of the app.
Input coming from Nima_owji reveals the Twitter DMs button is placed near the latest feed option (star icon) on the top right corner of the screen. Interestingly, the screenshot is captured on the Android version of the app. However, it could come on the iOS platform as well.
As compared to the bottom, the top position is quite out of reach, and if you are a person who keeps a check on DMs frequently, may not like the reshuffle. However, it would allow Twitter to fit a new option on the bottom tray of options.
Encrypted DMs:
A past report shows that Twitter is working on encrypted conversations that would allow users to get more privacy and security over their messages on Twitter. Adding to this, Twitter is creating an encryption section for users to launch and manage encrypted conversations.
