To launch with a mature HarmonyOS software, Huawei P50 and MatePad Pro 2 unveiling may delay till June

Huawei fans are eagerly waiting for the launch of the upcoming flagship that includes the Huawei P50 series and MatePad Pro 2. Alongside this, the company’s self-developed operating system, HarmonyOS, and the new product unveiling preparation is moving simultaneously.

Recently, a digital blogger – Chrysanthemum Fans discloses the official launch of Huawei P50 and MatePad Pro 2 may be suspended up to June. It is so because they need to be equipped with better and fully developed HarmonyOS (Hongmeng OS) and also helps in increase stock.

Aside from this, the coming June will be the very busiest month for Huawei, where many of Huawei’s activities are lined up including the public beta of HarmonyOS for its device users, product launches, and more.

Yesterday, at a TEDxHouHai event hosted by Pressure, Huawei’s Consumer BG Software Engineering Dept President and AI and All-scenario Intelligence Business Unit Director – Dr. Wang Chenglu put the detailed information about HarmonyOS.

He mentioned that HarmonyOS is a next-gen OS and enables various intelligent devices to connect and collab into one single language. HarmonyOS will allow more devices to connect with each other, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience among all devices.

Additionally, he announced that this new software will run on 300 million devices in 2021 and the official is anticipated with the vision that the industry partners will create a robust ecosystem around HarmonyOS.

According to the previous information, the Huawei P50 lineup will come with a powerful camera system as well as a new design that includes a hole-punch display. On the other hand, the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro 2 will have a large 12-inch display size and both of these devices will be powered by Kirin 9000 chipset and will be the first to feature HarmonyOS in their respective devices categories.

A good meal is not afraid of late, so don’t be too impatient. The internal beta version of the HarmonyOS will be launched soon, and some users will give priority to experience the internal beta version.

At the moment, Huawei has not declared any official launch date of Huawei P50 and MatePad Pro but it will definitely soon give us a date to be anticipated.
