These Huawei devices passed OpenHarmony 5.0.1 compatibility test
Huawei is busy making its devices compatible with the OpenHarmony 5.0.1 release version. The newly launched models like the Mate 70 series and Mate X6 foldable already support the new build. Now some more devices have joined the list.
Inputs reveal that devices like the Huawei Mate 60 series, Mate X5, Pocket 2, and Nova 12 Ultra models are now compatible with the OpenHarmony 5.0.1 version.
All these handsets received the OpenHarmony 5.0.1 compatibility certificate on December 23. The device information page also shows the software build upgraded to the HarmonyOS NEXT 5.0.0.120 version.
The new update will soon arrive to the eligible models. In case you haven’t obtained the new HarmonyOS NEXT beta yet, then check the Settings app > System & Updates > Software Updates and follow the on-screen prompts for the upgrade.
Apart from the smartphones and foldable, Huawei will soon make the tablet line (MatePad Pro 13.2 2023, MatePad Pro 11 2024) compatible with the 5.0.1 version.
