These Huawei and Honor devices may not get EMUI 11 [List]
On September 10, at Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020, Huawei has unveiled its latest OS skin, EMUI 11 based on Android 10. The latest EMUI 11 brings lots of new features, which make users’ life easier including the smart Always on Display, multi-screen collaboration, better multi-window mode, and more.
After the launch of EMUI 11, Huawei has started the EMUI 11 beta testing program for its flagship devices, and the first batch includes Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro lineup.
Moving forward, the first batch of devices of EMUI 11 beta testing has already received the stable EMUI 11 version. On the other hand, Huawei is expanding the reach of EMUI 11 for more devices in different regions outside of China. You can check EMUI 11 eligible devices list here.
Apart from the eligible models, Huawei did not start the EMUI 11 rollout for some of its smartphones that had received either version of EMUI 10.x, while some other users are still waiting for their turn. Below you can check those devices that possibly may not receive EMUI 11 and might currently have to satisfy with security patches.

HarmonyOS:
Still, Huawei hasn’t confirmed officially but the previous report hinted that devices that haven’t received the EMUI 11 will directly receive Huawei’s self develop operating system, HarmoynOS. These include devices with even processors such as Kirin 810 powered P40 Lite and Honor 9X.
