These 4 Huawei Nova models joins public HarmonyOS 3 public beta
Huawei has officially announced HarmonyOS 3 public beta registrations for 4 of the old Huawei Nova models. These phones have begun their beta test journey last month in China.
According to the information, the 4 Huawei Nova family models for HarmonyOS 3 public beta are mentioned below:
- Huawei Nova 6
- Huawei Nova 6 5G
- Huawei Nova 7 5G
- Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G
According to the information, these phone users can now upgrade to the latest HarmonyOS 3 public beta software version. Interestingly, public beta programs are designed to provide a testing environment for all device users without testing slots limitations.
Therefore, HarmonyOS 2 users of the above-mentioned models can now participate in this public beta activity before the software goes under public release.
Beta testers will also get a new public beta patch, as soon as they opt into the public beta registration via the My Huawei app.
HarmonyOS 3 brings a lot of new changes to the software, it has brand new user interface interactions. Such as smart folders, it’s an upgraded version of the Large Folders feature with a number of new layouts to suit your preference for positioning apps on the home screen.
On the other hand, you will get better animations and performance improvements for fast navigation across the board.
That’s not it, you can now stack and group service widgets, as these large information tiles will save some space and allow you to get more in a single place.
However, if you are not convinced, then you may want to try new security and privacy features that will safely keep your mobile’s data.
To be mentioned, these phones have been sold inside China. However, there are a few Huawei Nova 7 devices sold in Asian markets. Hence, these phones are likely to get the next EMUI version, EMUI 13 but Huawei has not revealed a rollout plan at ht moment.
