These 27 Huawei devices receiving stable HarmonyOS 2, Global variant awaits
Today, a batch of 27 Huawei devices started receiving a stable HarmonyOS 2 update in China. These include previous flagship models – Huawei Mate X2, P30 series, Mate 20 series, and more.
The eligible devices began their beta journey in the second and third batches of closed beta recruitment. Overall, the beta timeline allowed the testers to install the latest features along with a new user interface.
Following this announcement, the eligible EMUI device owners and existing testers will be directly able to upgrade over HarmonyOS 2 via OTA update.

Upgrade Notes:
Before you upgrade, it’s recommended to download the OTA package via a WiFi connection, keep a sufficient battery level on your smartphone.

However, the biggest disappointment for these device owners goes on the global stage and Huawei has still not made any move to announce the global roadmap. However, we’ll keep you posted on this matter.
