There is no plan to launch Watch GT 4 Pro wearable in future: Huawei
Huawei Watch GT 4 is an excellent wearable but is only available in the base variant but its predecessors do carry a Pro model. While many of us may have expected a new advanced addition to this watch line, the company has responded otherwise.
This morning, the new CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group – He Gang teased the Watch Fit 3 on his official Weibo account, announcing that the wearable will launch on May 15 in China. He also pointed out a few key details of the device.
Amid the Watch Fit 3 warm-up, some netizens kept their questions based on the next devices. One of them asked in the comment section if the company has any plans for a new Huawei Watch GT 4 Pro in the coming days or a year later from now.
In response, Huawei Customer Service said there is no plan to launch the Watch GT 4 Pro in the future. Customers can purchase the available GT 4 series versions.
“Hello, thank you for your attention to Huawei watches. The Huawei GT 4 series currently only has two styles: 46mm and 41mm. There is no plan to launch the Huawei Watch GT 4 Pro in the future. Please consider your needs. Choose to buy the GT 4 series watches currently on the market or other series of Huawei watches.”
Since the Watch GT 3 lineup has both standard and Pro variants, it is obvious to expect the same versions for the successor as well. But with the Watch GT 4 series, the company seems to have changed this strategy and stayed with the base version.
New Color Variant – For China?
Huawei has recently unveiled a new green-silver color version of the Watch GT 4 wearable in the global market. Though it is unclear if the tech giant will bring the same design to its Chinese consumers in the coming days.
