The world lacks automotive technology suppliers not automotive companies: Huawei
On Saturday 29th May, the first shipment of SERES Huawei Smart Selection SF5 smart car is delivered successfully to the owners, while the rest units will be delivered by the end of June.

On this matter, the Smart Car Solutions Business Unit (BU) President of Huawei, Wang Jun stated “the world is lacking smart suppliers of automotive technology, not automotive companies” to a Chinese media.
He said, there are more than enough smart car manufacturers in the world as well as in China, but we are surely lacking smart car technology suppliers, who can provide good technology for the carmakers.
The main focus of Huawei is to supply intelligent technology, which can be installed in electric cars, not the other parts such as electric batteries. The company is also doing great in this field, we have already seen the technologies in earlier launched vehicles.
Furthermore, he profoundly explained the strategic starting point, car selling idea, and why they choose the smart selection SF5 model, in response to the car building room, also gave the idea about the well-organized reasoning about the automotive industry.
