Sino-German Smart Project includes Huawei, Tencent and others tech makers
The latest news from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), the Chinese and German tech firms are jointly working on a smart city vehicle project in China.
As per the info, the China Institute of Information and Communications Technology and the German Automobile Manufacturers Association jointly carrying out the Sino-German smart vehicle and smart city cooperation project in Beijing.
Famous names in the field of connected and smart automotive such as Huawei, Tencent, GAC Group, CAICT, Volkswagen, Bosch, and BMW are part of this corporation. The firms are determined to bring a new era of internet-connected vehicles through their technologies.
Moving ahead, the deputy chief of China Acadamy stated CAICT and German manufacturers will jointly promote the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), cross-industry interconnection explications, and establishes new business transaction standards.
The CAICT believes that the project members including Huawei will encourage mass production, model drawing, new C-V2X applications, and carry out further research in this field. Still the project is in an early stage to cover the way from white paper to enterprise influencer.
Simeteniously, the project will force the partners to combine their white paper, research, and technologies to reach conclusion, which will contribute to the development in the IoV of both industries.
As for Huawei, this Chinese tech firm is reaching new milestones in the field of smart car technology. The company holds hundreds of patents related to automotive technology, has the power lidar system, and owners industry’s number one autonomous driving system- Huawei ADS.
