The shortage of core components seems to forcing Huawei for flagship smartphones price hike

Once again the US-Sanction has come into effect and results in the SoC shortage for the Huawei smartphones, thus Huawei stores are unable to provide sufficient products, say reports.

This situation is not in just one store, but all other Huawei stores also facing the same circumstances. Smartphones have been out of stock in all stores and consumers are showing displeasure with the service.

According to the latest statics revealed by Zhuan Zhuan Group clears, the rise in the price of Huawei smartphones 5G variants such as Huawei P40 has started earlier this month. In this equation, the 99 new 128GB version of Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G shows the highest increase rate with 5.06%.

Furthermore, other 5G devices such as Huawei Mate 40 5G, Mate 40 Pro 5G, and P40 5G also show the price increases in the secondary market. As mentioned, the 99 new 128GB version of Huawei Mate40 Pro 5G reached 5298 Yuan with a 2.63% of increase in comparison with the previous month.

Following this, Huawei P40 5G has been reached 3,578 Yuan with an increase of  3.17%, Huawei Mate40 Pro 5G  128GB variant has the most expensive rate with a 5.06% increase.

However, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 30 5G have a steady rate in the secondary market but the price of the 99 new 128GB version has decreased somewhat.

To be mentioned, the well-known market agencies counterpoint and IDC have recently released the data related to smartphone market share for the first quarter of 2021. It was exposed in the report that Huawei’s flagship product market share is taken over by Apple, whereas the low-end products in the Chinese smartphone market share are carried by Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
