Standard Huawei Pura 70 to get AI Image Expand feature later this month

Huawei AI Image Expand feature is available to Pura 70 models except for standard variants. However, the company has now confirmed to push the capability for these devices this month. Users can look forward to upcoming updates on this aspect.

The phone maker today shared a new post on its official Weibo channel, describing the AI Image Expand feature. As per the post, the latest tool makes picture editing easier and more fun. With a few clicks, users can smartly enlarge their photos.

Following the post, many netizens asked when the standard Pura 70 will get the new offering. Huawei responded that both the base smartphone and the satellite SMS Edition variants may support the AI Image Expand tool by the end of this month.

Thus, the Standard Huawei Pura 70 models will likely get the AI Image Expand feature with the upcoming HarmonyOS updates. The respective phone holders can keep an eye on the update section to grab the newest firmware at the earliest.

AI Image Expand feature easily detects the image content. It thereafter, recommends an image expansion ratio and naturally fills the entire photo background. To access this feature, select any picture from the Gallery app. Tap on Edit > click on AI Photo Retouching, and select Expand tool.
