Standard Huawei P60 users receiving HarmonyOS 4.0.0.126 update
Huawei has kicked off the HarmonyOS 4.0.0.126 software update for the Standard Huawei P60 phone users. The update packs new safety fixes that will look after your phone’s current health and improve the system’s security.
Meanwhile, the Chinese tech giant is preparing for the next P-series flagship – Huawei P70, which will be a fusion of innovative capabilities and powerful optical performance. Perhaps, we could see it in March this year.
According to the inputs, the HarmonyOS 4.0.0.126 firmware update for the Standard Huawei P60 handset (LNA-AL00) is upgraded from the 4.0.0.120 build. You must have the respective baseline version to avoid compatibility issues.
It is worth mentioning that the latest development integrates the December 2023 security patch. Being a flagship model, users have been expecting the January 2024 fixes. However, this addition has its own benefits for your handset.
Eventually, the update removes harmful exploits that could lead to data leaks and system crashes. It further patches such voids that may act as a gateway for harmful malware and impact the user experience.
For starters, Huawei has kicked off the latest rollout in batches which means, it will take a few days to cover all the eligible units in the region. Hence, if you didn’t receive the update then don’t panic and wait patiently.
A quick solution to grab the software update instantly is to make your way to the phone’s settings app and select System and Updates > Software Updates > Check for Updates. Now let the device look for the newest firmware. To the available one, hit the Download tab.
