Currently, a stable rollout has been allotted for Huawei P50 and Mate 40 as well as other top flaghip devices. However, this latest release is related to HarmonyOS 2 users as all of the phones have not received this major software update.

Standard Huawei P50 users can download October 2022 HarmonyOS 2 security update via settings and download the latest firmware.

HarmonyOS 3:

HarmonyOS 3 comes with new features such as smart folders with more layouts, better widget management, improved system stability, optimized security features, and a more powerful Super Device system.

Standard Huawei P50 has been delayed in the launch date, as Huawei P50 Pro won the race of sale. On other hand, Huawei P50 standard version is the first to ship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset. However, the phone still blends with a 4G chipset.

The camera aspect of this device is quite powerful, as it contains – a 50 MP True-Chroma Camera (Color, f/1.8 aperture), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), and 12 MP Telephoto Camera (f/3.4 aperture, OIS), support AF.

In China, the phone has been launched with a pre-installed HarmonyOS 2 operating system, while the phone is now upgradable to HarmonyOS 3.
