Standard Huawei Mate 70 might sport OV50H main camera sensor
After Pura 70 flagship, Huawei is working on the Mate 70 series and the recent input on this subject suggests that the standard version of the new lineup could sport the OV50H main camera sensor. Whereas, OV50K may show up with high-end versions.
Weibo tech_savvy @DigitalChatStation has grabbed some inputs for the new Huawei smartphone lineup through purchased materials. He says that the company will opt for an OV50K main camera sensor for the Mate 70 series and OV50X for Pura 80.
The latter sensor will rely upon the LOFIC camera technology offering a dynamic photography experience over the earlier versions. You can read more details HERE.
Describing more details about the Mate 70 series camera specs in the comment section, the tipster said that Huawei may prefer Howe sensors (OV50K) as the primary shooter for its next flagship smartphone with a size of 1/1.3-inch.
Further details reveal that the Huawei Mate 70 series could bring two main camera sensors – OV50H and OV50K out of which, the former could be used for the standard variant whereas, the latter will appear in the high-end versions of the lineup.
An early input predicted that the Huawei Mate 70 series could use a new main camera solution with the OV50K sensor. Perhaps the company may choose the OV50H for the base model, just like done for the standard Pura 70 smartphone.
OV50K and OV50H
The Chinese tech giant has been testing these sensors for a long while, since the development of the Pura 70 series. Both lenses have their own merits as follows:
- OV50K: 1-inch large sensor + highest dynamic range. Balances the picture by adjusting highlights and shadows accurately to boost the light intake.
- OV50H: Quad-phase detection + flagship-level autofocus facility. It offers excellent image quality and ensures perfect crispness and detail in the picture.
Huawei Mate 70 series is likely to follow the Pura 70 series in terms of display solutions. But consumers will find better camera upgrades and software enhancements with new smartphone models. You can read more details of the device HERE.
