Weibo account @EvaluationShop says that the standard Huawei Mate 60 will soon get a big price drop. The amount is currently unknown but might be revealed in the coming weeks. Users can keep an eye on online shopping stores to grab the deal.

The tipster further states that the Mate 60 Pro price has dropped to 6250 yuan. For reference, the original costs of the premium handset with different variants are:

  • Mate 60 Pro (12GB + 256GB) – 6499 yuan (893 USD)
  • Mate 60 Pro (12GB + 512GB) – 6999 yuan (962 USD)
  • Mate 60 Pro (12GB + 1TB) – 7999 yuan (1099 USD)

Huawei might reduce the price of the Mate 60 series in the favor of Mate 70 flagship launch. Although the company hasn’t confirmed the news yet. Consumers can wait for a few more days to get accurate information on this matter.

Standard Mate 60 features an LTPO OLED 6.69-inch display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1216 x 2688 pixels resolution. The screen also supports 441 PPI and equips the second-gen Kunlun Glass with 10 times drop resistance capability.

Huawei imposed a Kirin 9000s chip paired with Maleoon 910 MP4 GPU to the device for powerful performance efficiency. The phone comes with HarmonyOS 4.0 out of the box and delivers several useful as well as interesting features on board.

The device sports a triple camera structure with a 50MP primary lens, a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 12MP periscope sensor. It also has a 13MP on the front side. Users can power up the device’s 4750mAh battery with a 66W adapter.
