Stable HarmonyOS 4.2 rolling out for Huawei MatePad 11 (2021) tablet

Huawei has started rolling out the stable HarmonyOS 4.2 update to old tablets and the latest one is the MatePad 11 2021 model. With this release, the company aims to enhance the user experience of its devices with useful features and improvements.

The Chinese tech giant is also working on the GoPaint public beta activity which is currently available to the newest flagship tablets. But it will soon make its way to other models. Notably, this app is only compatible with HarmonyOS 4.2 and above builds.

Hence you should install the new major upgrade as soon as it approaches your device. The stable HarmonyOS 4.2 update for Huawei MatePad 11 2021 is tagged with the 4.2.0.208 version. Ensure to have 8GB of storage to install the firmware.

Stable HarmonyOS 4.2 brings access to various new features including optimized security, an upgraded Huawei Reading app, and a better user interface.

• Upgraded the ‘Huawei Reading’ service. Based on HarmonyOS features, it provides you with a high-quality reading experience such as millions of good books, AI emotional reading, and cross-device circulation.

• When the tablet screen is off, tap the stylus on the screen to quickly open the memo to take notes and release the pen-lifting shorthand (opening method: Settings > Accessibility > Stylus > Pen-lifting shorthand independent switch).

Will MatePad 11 2021 get HarmonyOS NEXT?
