Stable EMUI 11 rolling out for Huawei Nova 7, Nova 6 Series and MatePad 10.8
Back in September, after the launch of EMUI 11, Huawei began to enroll new testers for EMUI 11 for Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series. Following these devices, the company then started to recruit more models including the Huawei Nova 7, Nova 6 series, and the MatePad 10.8.
These Huawei devices have already received 3 betas and now Huawei has decided to close their beta testing with the rollout of stable EMUI 11. After this announcement, users of the respective models can download EMUI 11 on both EMUI 10.1 and the existing EMUI 11 beta platform.
EMUI 11 brings a new smart multi-window mode, smoother animations, subtle effect motions on the notification panel, new and secure privacy features, super notepad, and more for better user experience and performance on the Huawei smartphones. Check the full changelog detailed below.

Build Versions:
Huawei Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro:
Full OTA for EMUI 10.1 Users: Huawei Nova 7 and 7 Pro users on EMUI 10.1 receiving a full EMUI 11 OTA with EMUI version 11.0.0.130. Users of these smartphones required to be on EMUI 10.1.0.211/212 to download EMUI 11.
Stable Patch for EMUI 11 Beta Testers: Existing EMUI 11 beta testers getting a stable EMUI 11 patch with version 11.0.0.130. The Beta testers need to be updated on EMUI 11.0.0.125.
Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G:
Full OTA for EMUI 10.1 Users: Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 5G users on EMUI 10.1 receiving a full EMUI 11 OTA with EMUI version 11.0.0.145. Users are required to be on EMUI 10.1.0.218 to download EMUI 11.
Stable Patch for EMUI 11 Beta Testers: Existing EMUI 11 beta testers getting a stable EMUI 11 patch with version 11.0.0.145. These beta testers must have EMUI 11.0.0.138 before installing the EMUI 11 patch.
Huawei MatePad 10.8:
Full OTA for EMUI 10.1 Users: Huawei MatePad 10.8 users on EMUI 10.1 getting EMUI 11 OTA with version 11.0.0.145, while users of this tablet required to first to be on EMUI 10.1.0.136.
Stable Patch for EMUI 11 Beta Testers: EMUI 11 beta testers receiving EMUI 11 patch with version 11.0.0.145 and the required version is EMUI 11.0.0.125.
Note: The update is rolling out in batches for Chinese models.

The brand new, intuitive animations throughout EMUI 11 create a smoother, more unified, and visually pleasing user experience when touching items or sliding on the screen.
Subtle effects:
Whether you’re toggling switches on or off, subtle effects have been enhanced throughout the OS for greater visual satisfaction.
Privacy-based screen projection:
When you project your phone onto an external display, messages and incoming calls are displayed only on your phone screen, both protecting your privacy and ensuring the continuity of screen projection.
SEAMLESS CONNECTIONS:
Super Notepad:
Notepad now supports editing notes simultaneously from multiple Huawei devices. For example, you can insert a photo from your phone to the note being edited on your tablet.
You can now quickly identify and extract text from images or documents, edit the text, and then export and share it. Creating a digital version of a paper document has never been easier.
MeeTime:
Besides HD voice and video calls, MeeTime also you to send encrypted messages and animated emojis, skip forward and backward when playing voice messages, and send groups of images in one go.
AI Subtitles:
Browse articles or pictures in different languages and translate the words or paragraphs by selecting and adjusting the selection.
Gallery:
Add a micro-film creation function on the “Discover” tab, add video clips through templates, and easily create special effects and a new video with background music. Enhanced video editing functions, richer operation instructions in the timeline and editing options area, and more convenient editing
PRIVACY AND SECURITY:
Hide Display Message:
When screencasting in mobile mode, enable the message do not disturb function, which allows the phone’s incoming calls and message banner notifications to be displayed only on the phone interface, which protects the privacy and ensures the continuity of screencasting.
