Huawei is gearing up the P70 series development and meanwhile, a new input reveals that some unofficial stores already initiated blind reservations for the approaching flagship. This is no less than a surprise as the respective lineup is still in the making.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus revealed that a few of the stores in China have started blind reservations for the Huawei P70 series. Following the post, some netizens shared a receipt in the comment section which read ‘P70 Pro with 512GB reserved with a deposit of 100 yuan’.

However, the tipster cleared the confusion on this matter and said that it is not an official setup from the company. To make things more direct, let’s learn the difference between blind and official reservations.

What are blind reservations?

Blind reservations mainly refer to those pre-bookings that are made without knowing the major specifications, pricing, or other details of the device. You often remain unaware of the product under such appointments and pay a specific deposit.

On the other hand, the company itself begins reservations after giving a few details or an official announcement of the product. These appointments take place 7-10 days before the launch event with additional offers and discounts.

Thus, the Huawei P70 series is still dwelling in the development process and will take some more time to show up officially for reservations. As for now, the company is keenly focusing on the upgraded camera system for the new P-series.

As per the previous reports, the P70 lineup could bring three variants on board – Standard, Pro, and Art. Besides, it is hearsay to install large language AI models for advanced capabilities. It would be worth seeing what else the tech giant will implement to make these handsets more appealing.
