Huawei is providing a new HarmonyOS update for its eligible devices, which includes the P40 Pro smartphone grab 2.0.0.218. This update comes with the December 2021 security patch to improve the security and stability of the device. Recently a Huawei P40 smartphone user in China posted that the Bluetooth headset will cut off after being upgraded to HarmonyOS 2.0.0.218.

According to the report by the user, after installing the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.218 update to the device, the Bluetooth headset option started to disappear for ten seconds every time it is listened to on Huawei P40 Pro.

The headset shows an issue that the Bluetooth reconnection and reconfiguration are invalid. In addition, the user showed that it is normal to choose SBC/AAC for Bluetooth audio decoding. On the other hand, select the LDAC that is unable to connect.
