Some Huawei P40 lite users receiving December 2022 update

Huawei is rolling out a new software update for its devices and some Huawei P40 lite smartphone users are getting December 2022 security update, which is a very late receiving.

According to the information, this rollout was spotted in December last year. On the flip side, this phone began receiving January 2023 security patch for the global models.

It’s possible that this scenario is limited to a number of P40 Lite devices and a wide range of users may receive the latest patch.

Huaweiblog reports that the December 2022 security update for Huawei P40 Lite comes with EMUI version 12.0.0.259, which is similar to what we’ve reported.
