Huawei and China’s online shopping platform – Taobao have signed a cooperation to begin the HarmonyOS native app development. This new initiative will help promote the growth of the HarmonyOS ecosystem and deliver effective services to users.
Taobao is one of the popular Chinese e-commerce platforms that brings high-quality shopping experiences to more than millions of customers. Using the respective app, one can discover good stuff, place orders, opt for inquiries, and more.
Notably, Taobao is owned by Alibaba. It has ranked as the eighth most-visited website globally in 2021. The firm facilitates consumer-to-consumer business and provides a surface to both small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
To introduce new facilities and useful services, Taobao has joined hands with Huawei and launched HarmonyOS native app development. Huawei shared the announcement on its official Weibo channel and described how this step will prove significant for both parties.
Eventually, the company says that the HarmonyOS NEXT Galaxy Edition will help in achieving new goals and form an application that will have features like easy to use, smooth functioning, improved security, smarter, and interconnection facilities.
On the flip side, the new cooperation will help both industries in meeting the broader development of the HarmonyOS ecosystem. At present, Huawei’s focus is on the expansion of HarmonyOS adaptation in the native region.
The HarmonyOS ecosystem has already entered the second phase where a variety of tech vendors are ready to initiate the HarmonyOS native app making. By the end of H1 2024, the company will reach new goals in this concept.
