Shopping platform JD announces HarmonyOS native app development

Huawei and the online shopping platform JD (Jing Dong) signed an agreement to initiate the HarmonyOS native app development. With this cooperation, both firms put efforts into the expansion of the HarmonyOS ecosystem and bringing more facilities for customers.

Founded in 2004, JD has now become one of the largest e-commerce platforms in China. The firm began its work with a decent website and now it is available in phone versions as well to make the online shopping experience more convenient.

JD serves as a B2C (Business-to-Consumer) online retailer that avails a variety of products including smart devices, electronic gadgets, and similar items. Thus, users can purchase their favorite products anytime and anywhere, if they have signed up in the JD Mall.

Coming back, Huawei has officially announced its association with the shopping platform JD for the HarmonyOS native app development. The Chinese tech giant said that the HarmonyOS NEXT-based JD.com application version will offer seamless fluency in searches and smart suggestions.

Meanwhile, the new features will make online shopping faster, more efficient, and more economical. Besides, the systematic framework and AI facilities based on HarmonyOS NEXT will bring timely services and ensure constant productive scenarios for users.

During the signing ceremony, the CEO and Executive Director of JD.com – Xu Ran said:
