Rumor of Huawei Smart Driving Chief joining NIO Weilai found to be false

Rumors of Su Qing, president of Huawei smart driving in NIO Weilai Automobile found to be false. The senior director of business communications and public relations, Weilai – Ma Li responded that the news is untrue.

Furthermore, the Huawei smart driving president also stated that he is still working in Huawei ADS (autonomous driving system) and recently got the Covid-19 vaccine, so everything is fine at the moment. He suggested not to believe false rumors.

To be mentioned, Su Qing first entered the HiSilicon Chips department and guided the Huawei DaVinci AI chip architecture. At present, he is leading Huawei’s BU smart driving product line as the president.

At present, the Huawei ADS map only covers Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, and will soon provide support fr other major cities of the Mainland. Huawei is working on this and it’s expected to be accomplished by the first half of 2022.
