Rumor: Huawei Mate 20 Lite will come in two variants, codenamed ‘Sydney’

Huawei is gearing up for it next flagship launch in October, recently Huawei filed ‘Mate 20’ trademark at EUIPO. later on Huawei Mate 20 Pro appeared on 3C certification and now we came to the third device of 2018’s Mate series as ‘Mate 20 Lite’.

According to the tipster Roland Quandt, Huawei Mate 20 series will include a lite version similar to last year’s flagship. The device is codenamed “Sydney” and will be coming in two variants: Sydney M and Sydney I. One of these devices are missing the back fingerprint scanner place on the back, instead, there could be an in screen fingerprint scanner or there will be no scanner at all.

Although there’s no device specification available on the device yet neither an official statement, we’ll keep you up to date as anything appears about the device.
