Rumor: Huawei Mate 20 lite variant could be packed with better cameras and Kirin 710
Huawei Mate 20 series is scheduled to be launched in October but it was recently rumored that Mate 20 will appear in two lite versions. According to the latest information, one of the upcoming Mate 20 Lite speculated to feature same specs as Nova 3i.
According to the tipster Roland Quandt, Huawei Mate 20 Lite is codenamed “Sydney” and will be coming in two variants: Sydney M and Sydney I. One of the lite models could bear ‘Sydney-L21’ as model number and will be identical to recently launched Nova 3i specs including Kirin 710 and a better camera performance.
One of these devices are missing the back fingerprint scanner place on the back, instead, there could be an in screen fingerprint scanner or there will be no scanner at all.
Although there’s no device specification available on the device yet neither an official statement, we’ll keep you up to date as anything appears about the device.
If you want to know what the Huawei Mate 20 Lite (one of the two "Sydney"s) is like, look at the Huawei Nova 3i. INE and Sydney-L21 (SNE-xxx) use the same ROM, so they are likely very closely related/almost identical.
