Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 specifications leaked

The specifications of the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset leaked today including the cores and its processing technology.

Tipster DigitalChatStation shared that Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (SM7750) has one 2.63GHz large core, three 2.4GHz cores and four 1.8GHz cores. The chipset could use Adreno 720 GPU. The identification code of the chip reveals that the large core is A715.

The ARM Cortex-A715 is the second generation ARMv9 big Cortex CPU. Compared to its predecessor the Cortex-A710, this core brings 20% more power efficiency and 5% improvements in performance.

Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 brings an octa-core architecture featuring one 2.92GHz X2 core, three 2.5GHz cores, and four 1.8GHz A510 cores. The chipset has an Adreno 725 GPU.

The chipset is processed with TSMC’s 4nm processing technology and provides better energy efficiency.

According to the tipster, Honor, Vivo, Xiaomi, and other smartphones are also planning to use this chipset. However, there’s more to know about the launch event.
