PSA: There was no Huawei Mate 50 teaser at HarmonyOS 3.0 launch
Yesterday, Huawei introduced the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system and a number of new products including the Huawei MatePad Pro 11. However, Huawei didn’t share Huawei Mate 50 teaser.
Last year, Huawei shared the P50 series teaser during the launch of HarmonyOS 2.0 but the Chinese tech maker confirmed that the device is about to launch. Yes, it was a good way to conclude the HarmonyOS 2.0 launch event.
However, Huawei didn’t replicate this scenario with HarmonyOS 3.0 and left the event without noting anything about the Mate 50 series, not even a teaser. The launch event was quite big and Huawei’s absence over this matter shows that the company has different plans to introduce this new flagship device to consumers.
Still, we’re unaware of the changes at the moment but we’ll keep you posted.
Meanwhile, a leak has just appeared, showing a live image of a Huawei device featuring a curved display with a wide notch similar to the Mate 20 Pro. It is expected that this could be the Mate 50 Pro because there was another supportive image that showed us a screen protector with a large earpiece hole.
On the other hand, the design is quite familiar and we’ll have to wait to find out more about this mega Huawei flagship that is preparing to launch.
