PSA: Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+ comes only in 5G variants
Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ are the newest flagship offering from Huawei. These smartphones have revolutionary photography cameras powered by technologies such as UltraVision and SuperSensing and branded with Leica.
All three of these phones equips with Kirin 990 5G processor and provides NSA/SA dual-mode 5G network architecture. Meanwhile, some of the consumers may be wondering “is there a 4G model of Huawei P40 devices on?”
The answer is that Huawei P40 series comes only in 5G variants and there are no “4G only” variants launched.
This doesn’t mean that the Huawei P40 series does not support 4G LTE. Because the Kirin 990 5G chipset has a multi-band network architecture and supports 2G/3G/4G networks already.
So why the company launched only 5G models?
Because, the Huawei P40 5G and P40 Pro 5G are selling at the same price of 4G Model of Huawei Mate 30, Huawei Mate 30 Pro priced at 799 and 999 Euros respectively.
Besides the pricing and 5G connectivity, Huawei P40 series also offers the latest specifications and more features compared to any of the previous releases. So, it’s a win-win deal for any of the customers.
