PSA: Huawei P30 Pro New Edition comes with EMUI 10.1
Earlier this week, Huawei refreshed its existing Huawei P30 Pro smartphone with the launch of a new model – Huawei P30 Pro New Edition. The phone comes with a new Silver Frost color and the latest EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10.
EMUI 10.1 offers a new set of features including the Celia voice assistant, Multi-window multitasking, Multi-Device control panel, Huawei Share 4.0, Screen sharing, OneHope, Sound Booster and Cross-Device Gallery.
Along with EMUI 10.1, the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition also equips Google Mobile Services (GMS) and Play Store pre-installed as well as Huawei AppGallery to download various applications.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is open to pre-order until May 31, 2020. It comes in three color options of Black, Aurora, and Silver Frost (New Color). The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has 8GB+256GB (standard) and priced at €749. The phone is also scheduled to launch soon in the UK.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition:
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition sports a 6.47-inch OLED FHD+ (2340 x 1080) display with a waterdrop notch design. It equips 7nm Kirin 980 processor, supported by 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage as well as microSD expansion.
The phone has a quad-camera system including a 40 MP (Wide Angle Lens, f/1.6 aperture, OIS) + 20 MP (Ultra Wide Angle Lens, f/2.2 aperture) + 8 MP (Telephoto, f/3.4 aperture, OIS) + ToF Camera. On the front, it features a 32MP f/2.0 aperture camera.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition packs with a 4200mAh battery that can be recharged with a 40W SuperCharge and 15W wireless quick charge. The phone comes with the in-screen fingerprint sensor.
We’ve not confirmed the phone’s EMUI version but since it supports GMS the phone likely to debut with the EMUI 9.1 (Android 9) and upgradable to EMUI 10.
