Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro leaked in live images, could accompany Huawei Mate 40 RS
On September 10, Huawei introduced its new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro smartwatch with premium titanium design and wireless Qi Charging. As recently a new “Porsche Design” variant of this smartwatch appeared online, which is likely to launch alongside the Huawei Mate 40 series.
Recently, an early unboxing of Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro posted by Techgarage but taken down soon after it went public. However, tipster EvanBlass got his hands on the screenshots from video before it disappeared.
According to the images, the Porsche Design Watch GT 2 Pro comes with with the same regular shape as the GT 2 Pro. However, it has some minor design changes on physical buttons and on the display edges. The watch also has a “Porsche Design” label on the top side of the display.
The Prosch Design GT 2 Pro includes a metal strap, instead of leather or silicon. The watch also have some exclusive watchfaces and customized interface similar to the Huawei Porsche flagship.
The retail box of this Huawei watch has “Porsch Design” marking all over the packaging. However, the box and the Huawei Health app mentioned the watch as Porsche Design Watch GT 2 and not the Watch GT 2 Pro.
Although, the company has already launched Watch Gt 2 Pro for the consuers but the Porsche Design GT 2 Pro likely to unveil as a combo with the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 RS Prosche Design, which may happen in October.
Previous report suggests that Huawei is also preparing a HarmonyOS version of Watch GT 2 Pro featuring distributed technologies such as – Screen sharing. With this feature, the smartwatch will be able to work as a secondary display to cast some information from the smartphone.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro:
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro comes with a 1.39-inch display touch screen display with sapphire glass. The body of this smartwatch is made of Titanium alongside two physical steel keys on the right.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro offers 32MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, GPS, and 5ATM water resistance. It packs with a 455mAh battery to deliver battery life up to 14 days.
With features such as stress monitoring and SpO2 level measuring, the Watch GT 2 Pro is a constant health companion and will help in ensuring that users have an active and healthy lifestyle throughout with over 100 workout modes.
Huawei has introduced new workout modes including Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, and Golf Driving Range. These join the existing range to provide users with real-time performance tracking and analyses for professional sports.
