Petal Speed app launched, Huawei’s internet speed test tool
Huawei has launched its own internet performance and speed test app – Petal Speed, and increased the number of “Petal” family apps along with Petal Mail, Search, and Maps.
Petal Speed:
As the name says, the Petal Speed app is a testing tool that comes with mobile network and WiFi network’s upload, download, and diagnosis features.
Petal Speed provides a simple installation, convenient use, and accurate results. In terms of compatibility, the app supports 2G/3G/4G/5G networks, as well as WIFI network speed measurement, delay jitter test, and diagnosis, and can accurately provide users with network status in real-time.
The network diagnosis report includes:
- Network access type
- Signal strength
- Network connectivity
- Network speed/latency
- Network stability
The Petal Speed has created a new model of “crowd testing” for network optimization. Different network operators can put forward the sample size, region, and node requirements that need to be tested according to their own needs, and publish them through the Petal Speed.
The user interface of the app is quite interesting and nice-looking, the buttons and UI elements are very interactive and easy to use.
Limited Availability:
The Petal Speed app launched on AppGallery but Huawei is currently conducting crowded testing, which enables feedback as well as rewards for the testers to improve the user experience. Also, the app is available only for Chinese users but you can download it from the link given below.
