Petal Search

Due to the lack of Google apps, Huawei launched its all-in-one search app, Petal Search, which helps users to explore the web, get the latest feeds, and even download required apps via third-party sources within a few clicks.

Dr. Jamie Gonzalo, VP of Huawei Consumer Mobile Services, and Andreas Zimmer, Head of Product at Huawei Europe said that Petal Search is on track to achieve 60 million active users in the global market by the end of 2021 (via gsmarena)

Jamie and Andreas further reveal that Petal Search currently has over 18 million monthly active users outside of China, of which, 4 million only reside in Europe.

In simple words, we can take achievement as a big milestone for the Petal Search, which wasn’t even launched a year ago.

New Changes:

Back in January, Huawei rolled out a new update for the Petal Search app, which improved its design, restructure the menu system and provide users a more stylish look for a better user experience.

Huawei has also added new sections to the app to make it more interesting for the users and easy to find content related to their preferences as well as their interests.
